GIVE GOD'S GRACE
The true Christian walk requires us to give ourselves away to God and to others. Our Give Ministries provide opportunities for people to serve in the church, as well as engage the community around them through service projects and evangelistic outreaches. The goal of our Give Ministries is to help you use the passions that God has given you to impact your community. Our hope is that you experience the joy of giving God’s grace to others it will leave you hungry for more and will draw you back to the Encounter with a fresh passion for God. And perhaps it will even give you the opportunity to invite people you know and meet to come along the journey and experience the GraceLife.
SERVE IN THE CHURCH
There are many ways to serve others in the church. No one is asked to serve every Sunday, but we encourage each person to have a role where they can bless and serve others in the church. Opportunities include serving in the nursery, teaching grade school children, greeting, cleaning, music, audio/visual, and more. Fill out a connect card on Sunday or talk to one of our Elder Pastors.
FAMILY EVENTS
We offer two free family events for everyone in our community. The first is our Easter Family Event (the Sunday before Easter). This event includes a free lunch, games, crafts, activities, and an egg hunt with prizes. The second is our Back to School Bash. We do a school supplies drive prior to the event. On the actual day we offer a free lunch, activities for all ages, and give away the school supplies to anyone who wants or needs them.
SERVE YOUR CITY
Every time there is a 5th Sunday in a month we do a community service project in place of our regular worship. We have served nonprofits and government organizations through hundreds of volunteer hours through these events. Join our email list to stay up to date about when the next Serve Your City will be.
